UK - School Shames Students With "Expensive" Coats

If you have a parent or even two who work hard enough for you to have a winter coat, even if it's a one-time investment that is meant to last several years, if it cost too much it is not allowed. That's right, "expensive" jackets have been banned because wearing them may "poverty shame" students with less money.

The school is located in the United Kingdom and has forbidden students from wearing expensive jackets in a letter sent by officials from Woodchurch High Shcool. The letter read in part, "pupils will not be permitted to bring in Canadian Goose and Monclair coats after the Christmas break." Coats such as these can cost from several hundred to over $1000.

Headteacher at Woodchurch High School Rebekah said, "We are very concerned about the fact that our children put a lot of pressure on parents to buy them expensive coats. Rebekah says students were wearing coats that cost around £700 which is around $900 USD. "A lot of parents at our school cannot afford that."

This is more of that left-wing victimhood mentality that thinks that everyone should be equal and if you work hard you shouldn't be able to able to benefit from your hard work because there are people who don't have as much money as you. We saw a similar ideology from the left in America with Bernie Sanders who called for an insanely high tax on the rich. If a father, or a mother, worked their ass off and became successful in life then they should have the right to buy their kids a $900 jacket.

Left-wing critiques would say that there are many kids out there who are born to filthy rich parents and flaunt their parents' wealth. Liberal ideology wants equality and would rather people's wealth be forcefully redistributed to the lowest casts of society, much of whom contribute the least.

Rebekah revealed her bleeding heart when she said, "They feel stigmatized, they feel left out, they feel inadequate." Guess what, when I saw kids with more expensive clothes than me it made me want to work harder and earn my own money so I could buy whatever the cool fad was at the time. This UK school is creating the softest generation yet when teachers are protecting children from fur coats.

One parent wrote on Twitter in response to the letter, "My son goes to Woodchurch High, he has been asking for one of these coats for (Christmas). Since the school announced this, he has told us not to bother as he can’t wear it for school. Result for me." Another social media user named Chris Garland said, "Why shouldn’t you be allowed to keep warm in something nice your parents have bought you?"

"I highly doubt every kid with a nice coat bulls someone so if there’s a case of a group say, targeting someone that’s a separate issue and should be resolved by the school." The situation isn't clear says Reason's Joe Setyon who says that it isn't clear if its "just a case of some children feeling bad" or are the more wealthy students "actively bullying" those with lesser means.

They're really just trying to prevent muslim invaders from robbing and murdering kids for their jackets. America had the same problem with blacks killing kids for their expensive shoes.

THE LEFT CANT HELP THAT THEY ARE SO STUPID THAT THEY THINK IN SUCH SHALLOW WAYS TO BELIEVE THAT BEING EQAL ACTUALLY MEANS MATERIALLY. BEING EQUAL IS NOT ABOUT MATERIAL POSSESSIONS OR MONEY OR WHERE YOU LIVE OR WHAT COLOR A PERSON IS. ITS ABOUT RESPECTING A HUMAN BEING BECAUSE THEY ARE A HUMAN BEING!!! A LIVING BREATHING THINKING FEELING SOUL. WE ARE ALL THE SAME. MIRACLES!!!! MANKIND HAS INDEED LOST HIS MORAL COMPASS AND HIS COMMON SENSE.
