Melania - Showing The World Her Inner Nancy Reagan

||| Twitter | @ritakhoury10 |||

Back in 1987, Ronald Reagan was in his second term as President of the US. Having lived through multiple assassination attempts, his wife Nancy grew overly worried about him not surviving a next one.

Over in the White House, his chief of staff Mr Donald Regan wanted him to stick to a rigid schedule, while Nancy wanted POTUS to only go out on days when their astrologer said the timing was right.

The Chief of Staff grew frustrated with this regimen, which created friction between him and the First Lady and at a certain point he hung up on Ms Reagan during a telephone conversation. She informed her husband who above all, couldn’t stand to see his wife angry with him.

Reagan famously demanded the resignation of his own chief of staff and received it 24 hours later. The American public looked on in amazement, as they had assumed Nancy was nice and sweet … and not at all vindictive.

As the saying goes, it’s always the quiet ones you have to watch out for of course.

In the current White House administration, Melania Trump has been the personification of the quiet one who didn’t make a fuss for the past two years.

Until this week that is.

FLTOUS seems to have overcome her aversion to political life. Already some of the answers during her tell-all interview in Africa were revealing. ‘Certain organisations’ had refused to work with her. You can be sure that the press will find out who they were at one point.

Michelle Obama, in the middle of promoting a memoir, claimed she never got a call from Melania after the Trump’s takeover of the White House. Her spokeswoman put out a statement immediately ending that fuss.

And then the finale hadn’t even started: the cold-blooded murder of Mira Ricardel’s career.

Ms Ricardel, the deputy national security adviser who no one had heard of until this week, had apparently dared to argue with the First Lady about seating on the plane during her first solo trip to Africa, and even suggested alternative countries to be visited.

Melania kept her cool for the sake of her husband’s needed upcoming Midterm elections, but now that those are behind, she put the knife in.

On Tuesday, Melania’s spokeswoman issued a statement calling for Ms Ricardel to be fired. “It is the position of the Office of the First Lady that she no longer deserves the honour of serving in this White House.”

Evidently, the position of this US President, much like Ronald Reagan at the time, is to better listen to his wife when she’s angry because, less than 24 hours later, Ms Ricardel lost her job.

Hell hath no fury like a Patriot scorned.

Looks like Melania has POTUS' back where (#MSM would have you believe) no one else in DC does. I am SO PROUD of my FLOTUS, and my POTUS. What a team! Best First Lady ever. Proud to be an American today!

I love how she trolls the media with her choice of clothing, proving that the MSM really is no better than TMZ these days.
