In the Chinese city of Huludao, five people died on Thursday when a motorist drove into a group of schoolchildren. At least eighteen people were injured. The Chinese authorities announced that the driver has been arrested but did not release further details.
Camera images clearly show how a group of young children crosses the street when the car arrives. The driver races towards the group at high speed and does not slow down.

The authorities do not yet make statements about a possible motive and speak simply of a "huge traffic accident.”

No announcements have yet been made about the identity of the victims and the perpetrator. It is therefore unclear whether there are many more children among the dead. Officials stated there were 5 dead and 18 wounded.
<b>Attacks</b>
Although it remains unclear whether the crash was deliberate, it comes in the wake of a series of vehicle attacks and attacks on schools this year.
In September of this year, 11 people died when a man in an SUV drove into a crowd of people in Hengyang.

China has been confronted with deadly attacks several times in recent years. The motives ranged from dissatisfaction with the Chinese government's policy to personal grievances or psychological problems.
The Uighurs, the Islamic minority in China, are also held responsible for various attacks.

The Red's are trying to get a handle on the Radical Muslims and have been sending them to re-education camps. An it has piss off the Radical Muslim Leaders and the radicals are conducting terrorist attacks.
