Poland - ‘Polish Fritzl’ Husband Gets 25 Years For Raping Wife, Charging Other Men To Rape Her

A Polish husband has done some horrific things to his wife including imprisoning her in a dark cellar and sexually abusing her. Now, he has to pay for his crime with 25 years in jail.

The husband has been identified as Mariusz Sz who sexually abused his wife over a period of four years. Worse, Sz even involved his brothers and friends to take part in the deplorable sexual abuse against the victim.

The victim was kept locked in their cellar for two years running and was horribly beaten, starved and repeatedly raped there by her husband, his two brothers and a friend of his.

The abuse happened in the small village of Parszczyce in Pomeranian Voivodeship in northern Poland between 2006 and 2010.

The victim’s identity was not released. The case had an initial sentencing in June 2017 where Judge Marta Urbanska said that the victim was subjected to such harrowing and inhumane conditions especially when “she was imprisoned in a cold, dark cellar, in which she was deprived the possibility of taking care of her personal hygiene and the possibility of dealing with her physiological needs under dignified conditions.”

The judge also stressed the starvation and maltreatment the victim had to endure during the period she was held hostage apparently in her own home. The judge added: “She was starved, forced to eat meals with her bound hands in a kneeling position. Meals were prepared in a manner that denied her dignity.”

The victim managed to eventually escape from the cellar to call her mother so she can be rescued. She was also very fearful at that time for the safety of her two daughters.

The police are still investigating the horrific case, and it is not yet known how many men abused the victim.

Sz’s two brothers Andrzej and Marian Sz and their friend Tadeusz B have also been charged with raping the victim and face a possible 15-year prison term if convicted. They have pleaded not guilty.

Reports have it, however, that Sz charged the men to have them have their horrific way with the victim, deplorably putting a bag over her head while the men raped her.

It is not clear what motivate Sz to do such unforgivable horrors to his own wife.
