KY - Man Charged For Throwing Christmas Ham At Woman Over Dinner Dispute
It could have even been a funny argument except that things probably escalated and over disagreement on what day the family should hold their family dinner, a man has now been charged with assault for throwing things at a woman including the Christmas ham when they couldn’t agree on the right day to have their Christmas dinner.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday. He is identified as 21-year-old David Brannon. Deputies were called in to respond to what could be a domestic dispute in a home on London, Kentucky.
While the complete details to the odd incident have yet to come in, authorities learned that following the argument on which day the family should hold Christmas dinner, Brannon allegedly threw things at a woman including the Christmas ham. The deputies found several items on the kitchen floor when they responded and did investigations.
Police said Brannon also attempted to escape when deputies arrived at the scene but he was still detained. He is now being held in the Laurel County Correctional Center on charges of assault and fleeing or evading police.
Jail records, for now, do not indicate if Brannon already has a lawyer.
The woman’s identity was not released. It is also not clear how she is related to Brannon.
It is also not clear if the family’s dinner- with or without Brannon pushed through, and if the Christmas ham was still salvaged to be enjoyed by people and bring holiday cheers as should be the case, and not be liberally thrown at people to harm, and be wasted in the process.
Social media users are also having a field day commenting on the incident, and giving their hilarious take on it.
