"Utopia" Pandemic Conspiracy Series Cancelled. Hit Too Close To Home?

File under "why we can't have nice things."

Lab made meat, evil pharma companies using poor kids as guinea pigs, preppers on the run from shadowy spooks, a pandemic that originated from bats, the truth hidden in a piece of pop culture and dismissed as "right wing conspiracy?" Yup, I suppose it was inevitable that the Amazon Prime series Utopia would be cancelled. Like the show True Detective the blue checkmark brigade and media are blasting the series for being "irresponsible" by painting the conspiracy theorists as right the whole time. A "dangerous" idea that somehow slipped through for a time at least.

I would never recommend someone pay for Amazon Prime, but definitely would encourage people to get a free trial just so they can watch the one and only season of this show that was cancelled the same month it was released.
