It may sound like hyperbole, but the introduction of covid track and trace tools and vaccination verification apps and programs go hand in hand with Silicon Valley's Americanized and corporatized social credit score. The social credit score program in China can limit movement and prevent such simple things as taking a train to where you need to go or flying in an airplane. The next logical step with these kinds of programs will be digital ID and from there once all our records and data are in one place might as well implant one of those chips that some businesses are normalizing.
