Milo Yiannopoulos Sues Simon & Schuster For $10 Million

After canceling the critically acclaimed and highly anticipated book release from Milo Yiannopoulos, publisher Simon & Schuster has been hit with a $10 Million lawsuit for breach if contract.

The controversial but ultimately popular Milo Yiannopoulos has a massive following from the right wing for his work at Breitbart as well as his longstanding flame wars against social justice warriors in America and Europe stemming from GamerGate where he built a strong contingency against cultural Marxism.

Yiannopoulos announced the new lawsuit Friday in New York, shortly after he decided to take the steps to self-publish the Simon & Schuster-canceled memoir, “Dangerous.”

Milo has said that that the timing of the lawsuit aligning so close to the release of his book is “largely coincidental” and that “any suggestion that this lawsuit is solely designed to drum up publicity is completely wrong!” Some disagree with his claims however either way it's a genius marketing move even if he's clearly in the right for pursuing the lawsuit.

Yiannopoulos resigned from Breitbart News once video clips of him surfaced in which those behind the release of the footage said Milo intended to defend sexual relationships between boys and older men. Yiannopoulos has claimed that these groups used deceptive editing and his own “sloppy phrasing” for the notion that he supported pedophilia, and denies such advocacy for the crime.

Simon & Schuster broke the contract with Milo after the backlash earlier this year stemming from comments Milo made over a year earlier that was pushed into the spotlight by the media in an attempt to target a powerful voice on the right.

Once Yiannopoulos self-published the title “Dangerous” on Amazon on July 4, it soon became a top bestseller as well as a top new release on the website, according to Publishers Weekly. A public relations firm representing Yiannopoulos stated to Publishers Weekly that the initial 100,000 copies of the memoir that were delivered to Amazon sold out on the first day, shattering records and expectations.

Insiders claim that Yiannopoulos was reportedly paid $80,000 of his $255,000 book advance, and set to benefit around $8-15 Million more if the book was successful. The lawsuit will be dealt with in New York courts.

money whores complaining because his mouth got him in trouble, aww shame. if his book is so great'yeah, right', then publishing it himself would net him more profit not less, so timing of lawsuit smells almost as bad as his breath, anyone for a breathmint?
