Two people were arrested in New Orleans for a road rage incident that took place in Tucker, Georgia in March.
Joel Williams, 30, and Alvion Robinson, 27, are accused of shooting a man on Highway 78 near Mountain Industrial Boulevard. The victim, later identified as 52-year-old Gerald Tisdale died a week after after he lost control of his car as a result of the shooting and crashed into a wooded area.
Investigators have also charged the pair with child cruelty because three children were in the car when the shooting happened.
Tisdale was then driving to see his children ages 9 and 12 on March 30 when someone fired a shot into hi Jeep Cherokee on Highway 78. He drove off the road and later died from the gunshot wound.
Police said a black Nissan Altima was involved in the shooting. Someone from inside the said car opened fire against Tisdale’s car. The police also said that the people in the other car were the aggressors on the road argument that led to Tisdale’s death.
The authorities asked for the public’s help then in identifying and tracking down the suspects in the shooting.
