A new lawsuit has been brought against the Archdiocese of Phoenix, Arizona, saying that Catholic Bishop O’Brien molested the anonymous plaintiff in the case going simply by “Joseph W.”.

The lawsuit alleges that sexual abuse occurred at multiple locations, including St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School.
Bishop Emeritus Thomas J. O'Brien has previously admitted to helping assist in the cover up suspected pedophile Priests, but this is the first lawsuit to allege O'Brien was personally responsible for abuse against a child.

O'Brien stepped down as Bishop in 2003 after he formally admitting in participating in a widespread attempt by the Archdiocese to cover up sex crimes against children committed by others within the Catholic Church.

The abuse often took place before or during church services attended by Joseph W. and his family," the lawsuit claims, "and under the guise of Bishop O'Brien showing Joseph W. how to assist with some aspect of the ceremony."
<strong>The Catholic Diocese of Phoenix issued a statement saying:</strong>
<i>“According to Diocese of Phoenix records, Bishop O’Brien was never assigned to any of the parishes or schools identified in the lawsuit, and no specific information has been presented which connects Bishop O’Brien to the plaintiff. Bishop O’Brien categorically denies the allegations. The Diocese of Phoenix immediately contacted the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office upon learning of these allegations in September of 2016, and has offered its assistance and cooperation with any law enforcement investigation into the matter. Because this is a pending litigation matter, we will not be sharing additional information. ”</i>
What's seemingly a repetitive cycle with this demonic Church that protects pedophiles and disgusting sexual offenders, once again the Catholic Church is denying that such a crime could have occurred even though the Bishop himself in the past has admitted to participating in a cover up.
In early 2003 O'Brien entered into an immunity deal with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office after admitting he played a major role in letting suspected pedophile Priests go back to working with children.
Two weeks later, as if an intervention by God Himself, O'Brien hit and killed Jim Reed with his car as Reed was crossing the street near 19th and Glendale avenues.
During that crime O'Brien left the scene of the accident and did not contact police to report the crime, even after he found out police were looking for his car. O'Brien was later found guilty and sentenced to four years probation and community service.
These monsters continue to evade justice, and they remain working alongside children. At some point we have to admit as a kind and loving people that the religion of Catholicism is infested with these vile demons and do something about it.

I am sick and tired of writing these articles which seem like several a month involving Priests, Bishops, Cardinals, and even those close to the Vatican who continue to harm children. I'm sure the readers are sick of hearing about these people.
Bring back public executions for sex offenders who harm children. It's simple.
