12 Year Old Girl Killed By Savage Documented Gang Member

In another display of the epic black on black violence that's arguably the greatest threat to the black community and inner cities, a 26 year old documented gang member is responsible for the shooting death of a 12 year old girl in Victorville.

The ruthless thug was arrested in Redlands according to San Bernardino Sheriff’s Deputies.

Investigators say that the shooting was both the culmination of a feud between the suspect’s family and the young victim's family, that had been consuming the relatives for a month.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Sgt. John Gaffney said during a news conference on Friday that the tensions had escalated prior to the shooting between the individuals involved.

26 year old Anthony Pitts, was arrested at his mother’s Redlands home in the shooting that left 12 year old Makiya Walls dead in the 17000 block of Monaco Drive in Victorville, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon.

Authorities said that two other women, 29 year old Danielle Cummings, and 28 year old Reyna Mercado were also detained.

Pitts and Cummings have children together, according to Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jodi Miller.

All three of the Adelanto residents were arrested at 12:01 AM Friday at the sheriff’s Victorville Station on suspicion of murder according to the intake logs.

McMahon called the shooting “senseless” and condemned the violent loss of Makiya.

35 year old Maesha Lundy, who is Makiya’s mother, has also been arrested on suspicion of making threats against Pitts and his family, McMahon said.

Officials Say that Cummings called emergency 911 after 34 year old Christopher Hicks, of Victorville, showed up at their Adelanto home.

Cummings told the Sheriff's Deputies she had multiple recordings of Lundy and Hicks continuously calling her home between 9 PM on Wednesday and 4 AM on Thursday making threats against her at which time she handed the recordings over to the Sheriff’s Department.

The two were later arrested early Friday morning at a Victorville motel.

Intake records indicate that Lundy was placed into Central Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, early on Friday morning.

Lundy is now being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. Hicks was booked into the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto.

Detectives believe that the trio which were detained in Redlands targeted Makiya’s residence as part of the feud, and possibly intentionally killed the child to make a statement.

McMahan, citing the ongoing criminal investigation, said that he would not identify who was the intended target, but the child is now dead so the conclusion is clear.

Makiya was shot shortly before 8:30 PM after the suspect in which investigators believe was Pitts walked up to the home with a shotgun and fired into the home, before speeding off in an unknown vehicle.

The 12 year old girl was then brought to a nearby hospital by emergency responders, where she later died.
