What is California coming down to? It's town El Cerrito has horrifically opened a new camp aiming to serve the “transgender kid population.”
The shocking new camp is called Rainbow Day Camp. It is supposed to offer a “safe space” for kids up to age 12 to horrendously “be the transgenders they were created to be”.
Even the media seem to normalize the despicable anomaly. An NBC News piece reported: “In some ways, Rainbow Day Camp is very ordinary. Kids arrive with a packed lunch, make friendship bracelets, play basketball, sing songs and get silly. But it is also extraordinarily unique… At check-in each day, campers make a nametag with their pronoun of choice. Some opt for ‘she ‘ or ‘he ‘. Or a combination of ‘she/he’. Or ‘they’, or no pronoun at all. Some change their pronouns daily, to see what feels right.”
An opinion piece by Cheryl Chumley by The Washington Times categorically call the camp a form of child abuse. She said: “Teaching them sex is as selective and interchangeable as the clothing they wear is setting their lives on a path of ridicule, confusion, and deceit. “ She added: “Sex is determined by God. Gender is not a flavor of the day. It’s not the role of a 4-year-old to choose.”
Chumley said that adults are free to choose a life of “transgenderism” or drifting gender, or no gender. She said that “America, after all, is not a land of Islam.”
But she draws the line when it comes to vulnerable children. She calls it a sad, pitiful and abysmal situation to force children to adapt to such a lifestyle and to practically use them and their innocence to become tools of social engineering for a “feel-good moment” for the LGBT crowd?
It is also a form of relinquishing parental roles and responsibilities to little children as to decide their gender when they have not yet even reached the age of reason?
Chumley said it’s normal for children to want to play with girls’ toys even if they are boys and vice versa, but all these are part of exploring at such a young age. Parents are supposed to guide children on these matters, and not to deceive and alter reality.
Unfortunately, the horrifying camp has attracted dysfunctional families from as far as New York City and Washington, D.C.
Chumley reiterated that transgenderism is a mental disorder. She added: “Rubber-stamping the youth with the notion that it’s not (mental disorder) is a form of propaganda, a teaching of truly secular and damaging ideas”. She also said that what the children are being subjected to in the so-called rainbow camp is a “tool of evil.”
