In today's segment of America's stupidest criminal, there's a popular video star who streams himself committing crimes on various platforms.
His videos go up on YouTube, LiveLeak, World Star Hip Hop, and a variety of other platforms before going viral.
In the majority of his films, the man is known as “Boonk Gang” walks into random businesses and asks about a product, while filming the entire incident, and then running out of the store with the goods while on camera.

“Boonk Gang” is the online pseudonym of South Florida resident John Robert Hill, who has built a massive fanbase and online notoriety for posting footage of himself committing the various crimes on social media platforms.

I'm serious. I'll embed a few of the videos in this article. While it at first seems like a stunt, which he claims they are not, for a long time many people believed it was indeed a performance art and it's actually reality at least in some cases of not all of them.

To top it off he's doing it to obtain followers for <i>a rap career</i>, and so far he's acquired millions of fans.

This criminal savage plays the stereotypical role of an uneducated inner city black thug perfectly, and unfortunately, people actually glorify this.

Earlier this summer <a href="http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/miami-gardens/article163708078.html">The Miami Herald reported on his arrest</a> after he was filming one of his crimes where he went into a South Florida Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant and filmed himself stealing a tray full of donuts, running out of the store with it.

That's the not the first time he'd been charged so far, with another time stealing a box of chocolate from a highschool student selling them for a fundraiser. However since apparently most of his viewers thought it was satire, he's been able to get away with most of his crimes.

In that case, he was charged with both burglary and petty theft and somehow ended up with only sixty days worth of probation.

However, that's just the tip of the iceberg. There are several videos of the criminal not just stealing from businesses and establishments, but violently attacking driver's vehicles with baseball bats, robbing drug dealers on camera (he orders the drugs and when they pull up to deliver it he runs off with the narcotics), among many other crimes.

Now he's being investigated in a multi-state investigation for his crimes against the general population.

Some of the videos do seem like they're staged, but many others clearly are not.

Some are intended to be funny, but others are just downright criminal in nature and dangerous. He's lucky he hasn't been killed.

So now it looks like if it's actually a staged series of stunts, which some of them clearly are not, he's going to have to admit it's a performance art, and possibly prove so in order to save himself from prosecution.

Otherwise, he could face charges for many of the incidents that have been captured on film.
