Las Vegas Update: 50 Dead, 200 Wounded - Shooter Stephen Paddock

The gruesome situation around the Las Vegas mass shooting becomes clearer. So far, 50 people are reported dead and more than 200 wounded.

Of those wounded, hospital workers say that 34 are in a critical condition in. One Las Vegas hospital reported treating at least 20 victims with gunshot wounds

The shooter has been identified as Mr. Stephen Paddock, 64 years old, of Mesquite, Nevada, who lived in a retirement home.

Sheriff Joe Lombardo spoke at a press conference where he claimed that the attack was done by Mr Paddock alone and that his services are looking for help from the public in locating a ‘person of interest’ named as Ms Marilou Danely, a woman of Asian descent who was purportedly traveling with Mr Paddock.

During the shooting, reports were coming in about different incidents at other locations in Las Vegas, but the police department has stated all those reports were false.

A female concertgoer gave a tearful interview about the events: “They were firing from somewhere high and they were unloading clip after clip after clip after clip. We all got on the floor, crawling out, rushing.”

The lone gunman shot at the crowd from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel with a heavy caliber automatic firearm.

Poker Player Dan Bilzerian was at the concert when it happened: “Holy f–k this girl just got shot in the f–king head. So f–king crazy…So I had to go grab a gun, I’m f–king heading back…Some kind of mass shooting…Guy had a heavy caliber weapon for sure…Saw a girl f–king get shot in the face right next to me, her brains f–king hanging out.”
