Vice-President Mike Pence has been accused of many wrongs by the liberal left. From not seeing eye to eye on LBGT matters to being a religious conservative over his strict views on abortion and immigration. His views have remained and will not change. Mr. Pence is quite easy to predict in those matters, which is probably why he has been a trustworthy VP to President Trump.
There is however one thing you cannot accuse him off. Mr Mike Pence’s moral stance and principles are where they should be and you can be sure they will never change.
Yesterday, whilst visiting an NFL game of the 49ers versus the Colts in Indianapolis, Mr Pence held his hand over his heart as the national anthem played, showing respect to the flag and the US symbols.
His wife Karen accompanied him and if their morning Twitter feed is to be believed, they were both looking forward to a great day out: “Looking forward to cheering for our @Colts & honoring the great career of #18 Peyton Manning at @LucasOilStadium today. Go Colts!”

Mr Pence had come to the game because he wanted to watch Peyton Manning’s retirement ceremony.
Some players from the 49ers kneeled during the anthem, while some Colts wore black T-shirts with the words "We Will" on the front and "Stand for equality, justice, unity, respect, dialogue, opportunity" on the back. The players stood with their arms locked during the anthem.
Upon seeing that players kneeled and didn’t show the appropriate respect the US flag deserves, Mr Pence walked out.
He announced his departure from the Lucas Oil Stadium on Twitter.
President Trump was informed immediately after. An official White House statement followed, with a tweet from President Donald Trump which confirmed the walkout was not spontaneous: “I asked @VP Pence to leave stadium if any players kneeled, disrespecting our country,” Trump wrote. “I am proud of him and @SecondLady Karen.”
