Putin Calendar Sells Like Hot Cakes

If Russian media is to be believed, then the Putin 2018 calendar, which was released in the UK last month, is selling like hot cakes.

Moscow's TV5 stated more specifically that the calendar was a very most-wanted item form women wanting to run a joke on a girlfriend and they were "selling like hotcakes in Great Britain, where it became popular with buyers almost immediately."

"Reviewers of the merchandise are in awe of the Russian president's way of life and suggest that buyers share the positive emotions."

The Vladimir Putin 2018 calendar certainly did enjoy some memorable British press coverage when it went to market, with large articles featured in the Sun, the Daily Mirror and the Daily Mail.

According to Russian newspaper Izvestia, the Vladimir Putin calendars in the UK are the thing to have for this X-mas and are "suddenly fashionable.”

"There are no calendars anymore. They were all bought out in just a few hours.”

Whether it is true or not that the calendar is indeed selling out in the UK remains an open issue, but if the internet reaction on social media is to be believed, then this is indeed the ‘fun’ gift of this X-Mas. Girls are going wild for Putin with Leopard and Putin with Kitty.
