Even though the war against ISIS in Iraq has officially ended, the terrorist death cult proved today it can still strike wherever and whenever it wants when a double suicide bombing killed 35 people in the capital Baghdad.
It was already the second such attack by ISIS on three days only.
The death toll is expected to mount but for the moment security personnel claim they counted 35 dead and 90 wounded.

ISIS chose Tayyaran Square for its attack, as it is a guaranteed bustle of people every day. The site is where day labourers get picked up for a job and many men await on street corners.

A spokesman for the Joint Operations Command confirmed the facts by declaring: "Two suicide bombers blew themselves up in Tayyaran Square in central Baghdad."
Baghdad has been the target of suicide attacks and bombings ever since the Islamic State (ISIS) group overran large areas of the country in 2014. As the Iraqi government declared last month it had retaken all territory from the terrorist group, the pace of attack has slowed down.
Over the weekend, another suicide bomb attack on a checkpoint in the north of the city already killed five people.
The attack of this morning has not been claimed by any group yet, but security forces say there is no doubt in their mind that this bears the hallmark of ISIS.
