As happened earlier already on Western European soil, where many countries have both Kurdish and Turkish immigrants, once again supporters of the two groups could be seen duking out their political differences in another country. This time in the Hannover ( Germany) airport hall where Kurds were protesting and ran into a group of Turks trying to board a plane for Ankara.

Hannover, Germany
The Kurds were protesting against the Turkish military operation in the Syrian district of Afrin, which is directed against the Syrian-Kurdish militia YPG (which are backed by the US).
To separate the groups from each other, the police had to resort to using pepper spray.
The Kurds can be heard shouting "fascist Erdogan" as they were being attacked by Turkish Airlines passengers. Their flight was then delayed due to the riots.

At Schiphol Airport there was also a short protest from Kurdish protesters.
Demonstrators first stood outside, but then entered the central airport hall carrying a flag with the logo of the YPG on it. Luckily for authorities, no flights were scheduled with plenty of Turks on them at the time.
