President Trump was vindicated Friday after a report released by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee found there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Trump tweeted, "House Intelligence Committee rules that there was NO COLLUSION between the Trump Campaign and Russia. As I have been saying all along, it is all a big Hoax by the Democrats based on payments and lies. There should never have been a Special Councel appointed. Witch Hunt!"

The tweet also accused Democrats of perpetrating a "hoax" intended to undermine his presidency and said special counsel Robert Mueller should never have been appointed. It is hard to disagree with him after it was discovered the so-called "Steele Dossier" was paid for by the DNC and FBI officials withheld key information when they requested a FISA warrant to electronically spy on the Trump campaign.
The tweet came just hours after the House Intelligence Committee released a report detailing the findings of the investigation into Russian meddling that has been so costly to American taxpayers. The report found no evidence of coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia. It also blamed the U.S. Intelligence community for failing to "employ proper analytic tradecraft" in the course of its investigation.
