Mobile erotica company Lazeeva conducted a survey to find out which cities around the world are the most “sex-positive”, with those having the most sex as one of the indicators.
The study involved more than 450,000 people around the world and researchers ranked 100 various cities on how sex positive they are. “Sex positive” was defined as the city “having or promoting an open, tolerant, or progressive attitude towards sex and sexuality.”
The study also narrowed down the focus on how cities are sexually active, experimental and satisfied people are, how often they use sex toys and watch porn, gender equality, LGBT-friendliness, the amount of adult entertainment and access to contraception.
The survey also used existing data from the departments of health of different countries, as well as the UN-WHO and the World Bank.
And based on all the above factors and indicators, here are the “winners” that emerged. Paris, called “the city of love”, is also named in the study as the city which has the most sex.
Coming in second is Rio de Janeiro, considered “the home of some of the skimpiest bikinis in the world.”
Rounding up the top five are London at number three, followed by Los Angeles and then Berlin at number five.New York City is number six on the list, and completing the top 10 are Sao Paulo, Las Vegas, Ibiza and Amsterdam.
