In a provocative response to comedian Kathy Griffin’s sick stunt of releasing an ISIS style photo of herself holding the decapitated head of a mockup Donald Trump, Mike Cernovich, and Alex Jones are offering $1,000 rewards for anyone who can photobomb CNN live shots wearing shirts bearing the statement “CNN is ISIS” with a photo of Griffin on them.
Cernovich posted a Twitter message: “$1,000 rewards! Get on CNN w/ “CNN is ISIS” +Kathy Griffin on a sign. T-shirts coming soon. Contest starts now!@RealAlexJones.”
Cernovich provided Big League Politics with the proposed rules of the contest and said: “We want you to win and do not want to create a bunch of boring rules. We also don’t want to play games. If you make a good effort, that might get you a prize.”
Here are the “rules”:
1. $1,000 prize for anyone who is seen on TV with a “CNN is ISIS” t-shirt or sign.
2. $2,500 prize for anyone who is seen on TV with a “CNN is ISIS sign” and who also is heard to say “InfoWars.com”!
3. Follow the law. Do not trespass or violate any other state or local law.
4. This contest is open for the next 30 days, or until $100,000 in prizes have been given out.
5. You can tag @RealAlexJones under the hashtag #CNNisISIS
Cernovich announced that InfoWars will be setting aside $100,000 for rewards payments. He said they want to give out as many prizes as possible. Those who will be unable to make it on TV by photobombing CNN live news feed, they can still post their shirts and statements on social media.
Griffin has since apologized for her sick joke, but many doubt the sincerity of such apology as some noted her eyes rolling on her apology video. Trump supporters have called for a massive boycott of her events and sponsors.
