Canada – Afghan Refugee Child Killer Protesters Chant “Where’s Trudeau?” (Video)

The silence of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about the arrest of an adult Syrian refugee for the murder of a 13-year old girl thus far is deafening. The liberal politician is always quick on the draw when it comes to criticizing any neighbouring politician for saying or doing anything even slightly off ‘political correctness’, but this time round his own name is being shouted by angry protesters.

As Mr Ibrahim Ali, the Syrian refugee accused of murdering (and possibly sexually assaulting) the 13-year-old Vancouver resident of Chinese origin was led into court, angry protesters outside the courtroom shouted in unison: “Where’s Trudeau?”

A friend of Marissa Shen’s family, acting as a spokesperson for the angry protesters, said: “Why we are here? It is because we want the Prime Minister to apologize.”

As Globalnews Canada reported, the main concern of the protesters was that Mr Ali should have ‘never been allowed in the country in the first place as a refugee.’

It would now appear that Mr Ali killed (and possibly raped) the young girl only three months after his arrival in northern America. Her family is devastated.

Over at Burnaby park, people gathered in the torrential rain at a makeshift memorial for young Marrisa Shen. Some of them had brought flowers; others just stayed in tears next to the site close to the Patterson SkyTrain Station that is decorated with flowers, photos and messages of support for the family.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">“Where’s Trudeau?” is now being chanted outside the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Vancouver?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Vancouver</a> Provincial Courthouse. Dozens of demonstrators tell us they’re here in support of Marrisa Shen’s Family. Demonstrators we’ve spoken to say Ibrahim Ali, who came to <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Canada?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Canada</a> as a <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Syrian?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Syrian</a> refugee, wasn’t properly vetted. <a href="https://t.co/CrcHaLFSzl">pic.twitter.com/CrcHaLFSzl</a></p>&mdash; Sarah MacDonald (@smacdonald) <a href="https://twitter.com/smacdonald/status/1040644237442801664?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 14, 2018</a></blockquote>

Mr Keyan Zhuang and his daughter Lillian, members of the Chinese community, came to pay their respects. Mr Zhuang said that he was glad that the police had finally made an arrest: “At least this part of the incident is over.”

“You never expect this kind of thing to happen.”
