Two Little Kids Found Naked & Alone Outside Their Home; Mother Is Charged

Two little children were found naked, outside and alone in Adel, Iowa. Their 18-year-old mother was then charged with child endangerment on Friday.

The young teenaged mother Jasmine Teed was apparently asleep in her apartment at that time when two of her three children were found outside without clothes on in 43-degree weather near a busy stretch of Highway 6 and 169 in Adel.

The children’s situation then could have potentially put them in great danger. It is not clear who rescued them or who called the authorities’ attention to the kids’ troubling predicament at that time.

The mother is now being held on a $2,000 bond. Her children are now in the custody of their grandparents.

Teed’s neighbor, Cindy Golightly is more sympathetic. She said that to Teed’s credit, she’s never seen the kids unattended.

Golightly told the local media: “Everybody makes mistakes and we all need to be held responsible for what we do, but she is only 18 years old and she’s got, three little kids. I think the twins are maybe 2 years old and then they’ve got a little girl.”

Golightly would also cut some slack for her young neighbor as she explained: “You know, she’s trying the best she is, I’m not saying we’re all perfect. I’ve got grandkids, I’ve got 10 of them, and they got out of the house.”
