Singer Aaron Carter is out of rehab and looking so much better for it. After completing his two-month stint at a treatment facility after struggling with troubles in his life, the celebrity has gained 45 pounds and says, along with the improved looks is his renewed optimism for life.
The dramatic weight gain is the most glaring positive effect of his time at the rehab and an indication that he can potentially put the rough days behind him.
29-year-old Carter entered a care facility in September after a rocky summer. He had a DUI arrest and a public feud with his brother Nick Carter. Worse, the singer also had a suicide scare and a near-fatal car accident.
Carter announced his plan to enter rehab to his fans and followers back then. He tweeted this fall: “My loved ones, I would like to tell all of you that I will be disappearing for a while to work on myself.” He also made a promise to them: “I’ll see you soon looking amazing and ready to play all my new songs LIVE. Most importantly my stressors haven’t subsided with my family and this year has been crazy and I need some time off from all of it. “
The singer is very proud of his transformation that he even shared in his Instagram account the dramatic weight gain. He posted a “before and after” photo. He wrote in the caption: “This is mine before and after pics. I went from 115 to 160 pounds in two months. I feel amazing. 2018 I’m ready for you! My new Music is on its way!”
Prior to entering rehab, Carter publicly lashed out against his brother Nick and also had troubles with nearly all of his relatives. There was also a suicide scare after the singer overdosed on Klonopin and Xanax. The cops also received a tip from an anonymous caller saying Carter wanted to buy a gun and had been threatening to harm family members.
Carter has admitted to being addicted to prescription painkiller and that he purchased them from street dealers when he could not get them through a valid prescription.
The singer has also previously confessed to having an unhealthy obsession with cosmetic procedures including Restylane, Voluma, Rejuviderm. He said he took all three back then to look “less thin.”
Carter was also recently seen volunteering at Project Angel Foof helping feed the homeless. He shared a photo of him in front of a giant pair of wings, with the dramatic caption: “I may not be there yet but I’m closer than I was yesterday.”
The singer’s more recent photos in his Instagram account also shows him working and focused in the music lab, with one even captioned: “back in the lab” as the celebrity hints of a strong musical comeback.
