Law enforcement in East Moline, Illinois say they've apprehended a pedophile who was engaged in both the transmission and receiving of a child pornography network running out of the say state.
Authorities say that a three-month long investigation into 28-year-old Bryan L. Gibson began after they received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
After obtaining a warrant they searched his residence and located multiple files which contained sexually explicit images of young children in provocative sexual positions.
Gibson was initially arrested facing 20 counts of unlawful possession of child porn.
Each of those 20 counts are considered to be Class “X” Felonies, which are punishable by 30 years in prison.
The Rock Island County Jail says Gibson is currently being held in lieu of a $1 million cash-only bond, according to<a href="http://wqad.com/2017/12/11/381290/">WQAD</a>.
