Florida Man Attacks ATM for Giving Him Too Much Money

A man was just going through the motions of such a regular activity as withdrawing money from an ATM machine when he suddenly became pissed off with the screen and started attacking the machine. His beef? The ATM was giving him too much money! The Florida man has since been arrested for violently attacking an “over-generous” ATM.

23-year-old Michael Joseph Oleksik is now facing a criminal mischief charge after his brawl with the Wells Fargo Bank in Cocoa.

Oleksik was identified through surveillance video where footage showed him attacking the ATM after appearing to have been arguing with the touchscreen feature of said machine.

Oleksik’s attacks on the machine caused at least $5,000 in damages.

After his burst of fury, Oleksik called the bank shortly after his violent attacks to tell the manager that he was angry at the ATM for “giving him too much money” that left him puzzled and confused. He said he “did not know what to do”.

Oleksik regained his senses back and apologized for what he did and said he was in a hurry to get to work.

Unfortunately for Oleksik, it’s not all’s well that ends well as Wells Fargo opted to contact the Cocoa Police Department and requested that charges be filed against the aggression of Oleksik and for the damages he caused to the cash-dispensing machine.

Oleksik was arrested last Thursday and released from the Brevard County jail after posting bail.

This "Florida Man" guy is not only a master of disguise but a dastardly (if occasionally comic) IRL supervillain…

Probably had a balance of $14 and the ATM gave him $20 and a $30 overdraft fee. So his purchase ended up costing an additional 30 bucks.
