Prosecutors say the crime committed by an illegal alien was "one of the worst" rapes in Stafford history. Roberto Carlos Flores Sibrian is an illegal immigrant who was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman in a ditch for two hours on Halloween 2016.
Now Sibrian has been sentenced to a total of 238 years in prison for the violent roadside rape. Investigators say Sibrian hit a woman's car and forced her off State Route 3/Kings Highway in Stafford County.
Next, prosecutors say Sibrian used force to remove the woman from the vehicle and punched her as he dragged her into a ditch and sexually assaulted her over a period of two hours. They also say the crime is one of the worst rapes the county has ever seen.
Sibrian entered Alford pleas to charges of abduction with the intent to defile, rape, aggravated sexual battery and two counts of forcible sodomy. An Alford plea means Sibrian did not admit guilt in the case but acknowledged there was enough evidence to convict him.
Judge Charles Sharp exceeded the recommended state sentencing guidelines of 79 years in prison due to the hideous nature of the crime.
Instead, Sibrian was sentenced to life in prison (99 years) for abduction with intent to defile, life in prison (99 years) for rape, 20 years for aggravated sexual battery and 20 years for sodomy bringing his grand total to 238 years in prison.
