Diana's Weekend: Vigan Ilocos and A Glimpse of Baguio

Endless family road trip it sounds fun as you'll think of it, but what actually happens is it's super tiring and your butt is going to hurt for sitting long hours in the car, it's uncomfortable. 4th day of our family trip and were heading to Baguio.

We passed by the major attraction of Vigan Ilocos where we can see a super old place where they preserve Spanish-style houses. For visitors who want to experience being transported back to this period in Philippine Spanish colonial time, a walk or a calesa ride through Vigan’s Calle Crisologo or Mena Crisologo Street is a must. The tour will take visitors more than a couple of hours and will cost around half a thousand pesos. You will be guided through four blocks of cobblestone streets lined with heritage houses of the families of the Filipino-Chinese traders who rose to prominence during that time of vigorous trading in abel cloth, indigo, gold, tobacco and other goods that were transported to Vigan from all over the North.

Baguio is the Summer Capital of the Philippines, known as the "City of Pines ". It is known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines, owing to its cool climate since the city is located approximately 1,540 meters (5,050 feet) above sea level.

Baguio City used to be a vast mountain zone with lush highland forests, teeming with various wildlife such as the indigenous cloud rats, Philippine eagles, deer, warty pigs, and numerous species of floras. The area was a hunting ground of the indigenous peoples, notably the Ibalois and other Igorot ethnic groups.

Now, its one of the most touristy place in the Philippines. Every year my family go here to unwind and relax. There's a lot of things to do here for adventure and relaxation. We are just super tired of the long trip that's why we just go the places that are near.

I hope you guys enjoy the video, I'm hoping for bringing you more vlogs this year. Salamat po.
