Asian Woman Targeted in Brutal Racist Attack in London KFC

An ugly racist attack on a teenage girl of Asian appearance happened in London. Authorities are now actively searching for two women who broke the girl’s arm in the brutal attack.

The victim was a 15-year-old Asian-looking girl. The teenager was just eating with friends in a KFC branch in Waltham Forest when two women threw food at her without warning nor provocation.

Metropolitan Police spokesperson said that when the girl turned around to confront the pair, the tandem started hurling racial abuse against the teenager. The spokesperson also narrated what happened next: “The older of the two women pulled the victim’s hair causing her to fall to the floor. Both suspects kicked the victim while she was on the ground. As the victim stood up, a hot drink was thrown at her face.”

Police officers were immediately called to the scene of the incident. Paramedics took the victim to the hospital to treat her for a broken arm suffered in the assault.

Surveillance cameras captured the pair involved in the brutal attack. Investigators have released the said CCTV images of the two women. One of the women is described to be in her 50s, while the other is estimated to be in her 20s. Authorities say they could be a mother-and-daughter tandem.

Detective Constable Rosie Doyle emphasized that the attack was an unprovoked and vicious attack. The assault also left the victim very shaken and with a serious injury.

Doyle is appealing to anyone who has seen the pair to get in touch with them as soon as possible. Doyle stressed: “We do not tolerate hate crime of any form and encourage victims and witnesses to come forward and report such incidents to the public.”

Anyone with information is requested to call police on 101, tweet at @MetCC or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
