When Heather Locklear was photographed as she was detained for domestic violence and assaulting police officers, she looked every inch a troubled and messed-up aging woman. Hard to believe that she was once a bright Hollywood star- one of the hottest stars, in fact, of the 80s and 90s with her blond hair, blue eyes and gorgeous smile.
Locklear also used to be one of the favorites of high-powered producer Aaron Spelling giving her important starring roles in the hit series “Dynasty” and “Melrose Place.” She was also “phenomenal” in her love life, getting married to two of the world’s biggest rockers.
Now, she’s not looking like a winner that she used to be. On the exact contrary, Locklear is due to appear in Ventura County Criminal Court on March 13 on charges that she assaulted her new boyfriend on Sunday night and attacked the police officers as well who responded to the 911 call.

Locklear has been in trouble with the law on several occasions in the recent past, adding to her woes as a “fallen star.”
A family member shared to the media that the actress has been struggling with her “inner demons” mainly anxiety and substance abuse. Numerous stints in rehab did not seem to have helped her.
The relative added that her issues destroyed the celebrity’s body and relationships. Locklear has been through two divorces and has had a slew of short-term boyfriends since.
Her own brother called the police last weekend to report the trouble. He was horrified to see his sister's former high school flame whom she reconnected and reunited with, Chris Heisser, with injuries Locklear inflicted on him.
Locklear's family hopes she will recover. A family member said: “She has so much talent and beauty, and we hate to see that wasted. But she’s fighting a lot of demons. The only thing she can do is go back to rehab and try again.”
