A bill introduced by a group of Republican state legislators in South Carolina proved once again that the second amendment is always a basis for an intense debate as lawmakers introduced a measure which, if passed, would allow the state to secede from the United States.
According to the group of GOP lawmakers, the Illinois measure of this week (where assault weapons were banned in a town under penalty of $1,000, see our related coverage) are just a first sign of the government’s plan to seize legally purchased firearms.

For this reason, they entered a text that stated: "the general assembly shall convene to consider whether to secede from the United States based upon the federal government's unconstitutional violation of the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution if the federal government confiscates legally purchased firearms in this state."

The measure, introduced by GOP Representatives Mr. Mike Pitts, Mr. Jonathon Hill, and Ms. Ashley Trantham is a direct result of the national discussion which reignited after the deadly mass shooting in Parkland, Florida where a teenager shot 17 people.

Of course, the South Carolina bill is unlikely to make it through but as a symbolic act, it is quite noteworthy as the state historically was the first to secede from the Union in the lead up to the Civil War, withdrawing in 1860.
Mr. Mike Pitts: “I see a lot of stuff where people even talk about totally repealing the Second Amendment, which separates us from the entire rest of the world.”

Time for the SC to overturn all this shit. If they dont then there will be hell and the gop will lose but dems wont win because shtf.
Sounds like the right thing to do. If we allow anyone to infringe on our most protected rights, what will stop them from taking them all away? You give an inch, a mile is taken, then a state, then a country…..is the ultimate goal to make the United States not free anymore?
Dickhead Hog already said "they already gave us an inch, now we'll take a mile"
It's their plan, but they cannot foresee the massive shitstorm that would ensue. These idiotic fucktards actually think right now in the midst of all the indictments and the shtf for the corrupt asshats, that now is as bad as America can get. WOW, wonder how they would feel about 2-4 hours after the 1st few confiscation attempts and marshal law was enacted?
THE SOUTH SHALL RISE AGAIN
