Police in Florida may have heard one of the best excuses of all time when they caught a 26-year-old woman with cocaine. Fort Pierce police say they stopped a swerving car in March and that is when they met a passenger named, Kennecia Posey.

When police approached the car and questioned Posey they smelled marijuana so they searched the car. That is when officers found marijuana and cocaine inside the 26-year-old's purse which was on her lap. She admitted to owning the marijuana but said the cocaine did not belong to her.

"I don't know anything about any cocaine," she said according to the police report. "It must have flown through the window and into my purse." The elaborate and unlikely excuse was not enough to convince officers the cocaine was not hers.

Posey was charged with a felony for possession of cocaine and a misdemeanor for possession of marijuana. She was booked into the St. Lucie County jail and was later released on bond.
