Israeli Defense Forces officials say they're investigating a video filmed by an Israeli sniper that apparently depicts the sniper shooting an unarmed Palestinian protester within the Gaza strip. He and the other soldiers laugh and celebrate.
Given the fact that the Defense Minister has gone on the record as saying "there are no innocents" on the Gaza Strip, it's easy to see that the individual IDF soldiers have received their marching orders, so to speak. The Palestinian protestor was apparently unarmed and the soldier took them out with a clean shot to the head.

“Do you have a bullet in the barrel?” asks a voice off-camera in Hebrew. A crack is heard and the man falls suddenly. “Wow, what a video. Yes! Son of a whore!” another person says as people are seen running towards the victim to help. “Wow. They hit someone in the head,” says an off-camera voice.

The IDF says it is possible the clip may not even have been taken at the march and could be from weeks ago. So far over two dozen are dead and nearly two thousand wounded. The Jerusalem Post likened the event to that of the Hebron shooter who was sentenced to 18 months in prison last year after killing a Palestinian who had already been incapacitated.
“Unless there is more than meets the eye, this could easily be the start of a whole new saga of an IDF soldier on trial,” the Post reported. The March of Return is well into the second week of what is planned to be a six week protest. No Israelis have been so much as wounded at the event thus far.
