US President Donald Trump went after NYT reporter Maggie Haberman again this morning in a series of tweets, stating that her article about Mr Trump’s current relationship with his lawyer Mr Michael Cohen was very one-sided and untrue, using non-existent sources and a simple PR piece for the ‘Crooked H Flunkie’.
This is not the first time Mr Trump has taken to twitter attacking Ms Haberman for her reporting. Back in March, Mr Trump also blasted the NYT reporter for writing what he said were ‘false stories’ on the Russia investigation. At the time, she claimed that Mr Trump had been turned down by several law firms in the Washington DC area whilst seeking added counsel to help with the Robert Mueller investigation.

This time round it would seem Ms Haberman has written a piece trying to discredit Mr Trump’s personal lawyer, Mr Michael Cohen.
The US President stated that: “The New York Times and a third rate reporter named Maggie Haberman, known as a Crooked H flunkie who I don’t speak to and have nothing to do with, are going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen and his relationship with me in the hope that he will “flip.” They use non-existent “sources” and a drunk/drugged up loser who hates Michael, a fine person with a wonderful family. Michael is a businessman for his own account/lawyer who I have always liked & respected.“

“Most people will flip if the Government lets them out of trouble, even if it means lying or making up stories. Sorry, I don’t see Michael doing that despite the horrible Witch Hunt and the dishonest media!”

In her reporting, Ms Haberman uses quoted by Mr Roger Stone and Mr Sam Nunberg, both former aides to President Trump, to try and paint the picture that his personal lawyer is treated with disrespect by the President and that he will soon ‘flip’.
