Newnan, Georgia: Antifa Rioters Arrested for Refusing to Remove Masks

The town of Newnan, Georgia is now bracing for premeditated attacks against Trump supporters by a band of radicalized alt-left extremists - who claim they're targeting “Nazis” - but now have the town on high alert fearing a dramatic wave of violence.

Currently, there's endless disinformation surrounding the events that are unfolding, with Democrats from local media outlets refusing to answer any honest questions that The Goldwater has presented to them, and other troll accounts on Twitter stating that there is ongoing violence and tear gas attacks.

Trying to separate truth from fiction, I've found that there are in fact correctional busses on the ground, in case of the need for mass arrests as a response to violence.

Police presence is also heavy, as well as the SWAT team being in attendance for today's events.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">A few of those arrested. I was mostly shooting video so I’ll have that later. <a href=";ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#newnan</a> <a href=""></a></p>&mdash; Emily Molli (@MomesMolli) <a href="">April 21, 2018</a></blockquote>

The majority of the arrests occurring are of those refusing to remove their masks under State Law.

If you break the law, you will be arrested. It's very simple.<a href=""> Georgia Law </a>must be followed.

Police are concerned after the violence that has been seen on nationwide television as per “Antifa” thugs attacking Trump supporters, in the cities of Berkeley, California and the infamous event that led to a fatality in Charlottesville, Virginia.

This has prompted law enforcement to take extra preparations in advance of today's events, to ensure that no citizens or civilians are harmed.

Currently, overhead flights from local police and Sheriff's are engaged in monitoring the events as well as sweeps to ensure that no weapons have been hidden in a premeditated plan for violence.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The city is essentially locked down with checkpoints. Officials are patrolling streets and I’ve been told by locals they believe they are “looking for any weapons hidden the day before.” <a href=";ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Newnan</a> <a href=""></a></p>&mdash; Andrew Kimmel (@andrewkimmel) <a href="">April 21, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

Several leftists have children at the event holding signs, participating in the protests against the “Nazis” who have planned to march. Many of those supposed “Nazis” can be seen carrying their rifles as if to engage in the protection of their Second Amendment rights symbolically.

It's highly concerning that so many children are being brought to these events, showcasing the attempts to mass-indoctrinate innocent minds. These kids should be playing with water balloons and catching butterflies, not brought to events to protest.

While “Nazis” are indeed disturbing, and a minority in America, only having tiny sects across the country, they're still allowed to march whether or not anyone agrees or disagrees with their system of belief.

Radicals on both sides of the aisle, the far left “Antifa” as well as the “Nazis” are equally disgusting, but regardless if you agree or disagree with their message they have the right to engage in protest and their speech is protected as per the Constitution.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href=";ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Newnan</a><br>Both the far right &quot;Nazis&quot; &amp; the alt left Marxists of &quot;Antifa&quot; are hate organizations-<br>Both are sickening-<br>That being said this is America &amp; all sides have a Constitutional right to both protest &amp; speak their mind-<br>Even if I disagree-<br>But it&#39;s sad it&#39;s hurting small towns <a href=""></a></p>&mdash; Red Pill (@IWillRedPillU) <a href="">April 21, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

Law enforcement in Newnan have repeatedly asked some of the alt-left protesters to remove their masks, one if the iconic symbols of the radical left “Antifa,” and those who refuse have been subdued and arrested for ignoring the commands of the police.

This has caused the propagandists of Twitter to depict the police as being aggressive when in fact they're simply protecting citizens of Newnan, Georgia.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">I just witness the most over-aggressive policing I&#39;ve ever seen in <a href=";ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Newnan</a>. Tackling protesters and arresting them… for wearing masks. <a href=""></a></p>&mdash; Christopher Mathias (@letsgomathias) <a href="">April 21, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

There's no doubt an effort from the left on social media to depict the police as doing something wrong in Newnan for arresting “Antifa” protesters who decide to wear masks.

With face-painting on street corners for the children, I'm not sure how you can't define this as an indoctrination effort.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">There is an incredible sense of community here as locals gather for a <a href=";ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#NewnanStrong</a> rally calling out hate. There are live performers on nearly every corner and even face painting! <a href=";ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Newnan</a> <a href=""></a></p>&mdash; Andrew Kimmel (@andrewkimmel) <a href="">April 20, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

Attempts to “normalize” this type of disrespect for our country are terrifying, and it's corrupting the minds of today's youth.

The tweets showcase the desire to turn the civil protections of police into propaganda.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">It looks like a military occupation in <a href=";ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Newnan</a> <a href=""></a></p>&mdash; Christopher Mathias (@letsgomathias) <a href="">April 21, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">It’s quiet out here so far, seeing lots of police vehicles streaming in and staging around the downtown area. A few hours until counter-protest groups plan to assemble. <a href=""></a></p>&mdash; Emily Molli (@MomesMolli) <a href="">April 21, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

They're trying to spin these images as if police are harassing them for protesting, and that's simply untrue. They're breaking the law refusing to remove their masks.

If they follow the law, there won't be any issues in the first place.

Law enforcement has done nothing wrong, and they're simply <i>enforcing the law</i> which is in the books for the state of Georgia:

<b>2010 Georgia Code</b>

<b>§ 16-11-38 - Wearing mask, hood, or device which conceals identity of wearer</b>

<blockquote>”(a) A person is guilty of a misdemeanor when he wears a mask, hood, or device by which any portion of the face is so hidden, concealed, or covered as to conceal the identity of the wearer and is upon any public way or public property or upon the private property of another without the written permission of the owner or occupier of the property to do so.”</blockquote>

<blockquote>”(b) This Code section shall not apply to:”</blockquote>

<blockquote>”(1) A person wearing a traditional holiday costume on the occasion of the holiday;”</blockquote>

<blockquote>”(2) A person lawfully engaged in trade and employment or in a sporting activity where a mask is worn for the purpose of ensuring the physical safety of the wearer, or because of the nature of the occupation, trade, or profession, or sporting activity;”</blockquote>

<blockquote>”(3) A person using a mask in a theatrical production including use in Mardi gras celebrations and masquerade balls; or”</blockquote>

<blockquote>”(4) A person wearing a gas mask prescribed in emergency management drills and exercises or emergencies.”</blockquote>

To those posting still images of law enforcement pointing their weapons at the “Antifa” protesters in a propaganda effort, your methodology isn't a legitimate tactic.

The law clearly states that if you wear a mask, you will be charged. Police also have asked those engaged in their protests to remove their masks or else they'll be arrested.

Those refusing are indeed taken into custody. Police also have no clue what weapons these “Antifa” have in their possession, so of course, they're going to point their weapons at them and demand they submit for apprehension. Those who refuse are then physically restrained to be placed in handcuffs.

This is the law, and it's being followed by police.

The residents of Newnan are the true victims here, who must now endure the blockades of their streets, and be forced to encounter the heavy police presence.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">This Is My Town &amp; Im Pissed, We Don’t Condone Or Want This Hate Here…I Would Warn These Hate Groups To Tread Lightly…This Is Not A Gun Free Zone! <br>A small city in Georgia is fighting back against neo-Nazis in a novel way <a href=";ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#PrayForNewnan</a> <a href=";ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#NewnanStrong</a> <a href=""></a> <a href=""></a></p>&mdash; TrumpsBelle (@Belle4DJT) <a href="">April 20, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

In the end, Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States of America, and all of these senseless events cost taxpayers countless dollars in police presence and shut down entire towns such as Newnan.

The people of Newnan do not want this in their town. They have a right to speak out against both sides, and it's costing them money.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="und" dir="ltr"><a href=""></a></p>&mdash; TrumpsBelle (@Belle4DJT) <a href="">April 21, 2018</a></blockquote>

<script async src="" charset="utf-8"></script>

In the end, this serves no purpose for anyone and causes more divide and conquer. This means that the globalist division tactics win at the end of the day.

Neither “Antifa,” nor the “Nazis” are welcome anywhere in America, and this nonsense is tiring. People just want to live their lives in peace.

The statement that people just want to live their lives in peace is true but unfortunately there are people who cannot respect others "right to say no" i don' t want to associate or help someone because I choose to. the slaughter of liberals and democrats and their kindred, will always be a considered A positive event

duncan tremblay No. 23872 2018-04-23 : 04:28

(hit the wrong key) a positive event by some who see them as oppressive since the history of their party has been marred by their own destructive and controlling views against others they were the party of JIM CROW legislation they were the founders and perpetual re-inventors of the Klu Klux Klan they are unable to respect others as the will start any debate with insults ans innuendoes against their opponent
