The case of 3 students that were killed and dissolved in an acid is one that, honestly, should not even surprise you anymore if you have read about the horrific acts going on in the US’s southern neighbor. But because the three people in question were known film students, several major Mexican movie directors, and movie stars have now brought their situation into the spotlight.
The three students (Mr Salomon Aceves Gastelum, 25 years old, Mr Daniel Diaz, 20 years old and Mr Marco Avalos, 20 years old) were mistaken for rival gang members and were kidnapped by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel after they had been filming a school project at a house used by a rival gang, on the outskirts of the city of Guadalajara.
