New York - Jared Kushner Targeted by Man With Metal Pole at Trump Hotel

A deranged man attempted to harm presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner at Trump International Hotel in New York City by showing up at the famous establishment with a metal pole allegedly with the ill-intention of attacking Ivanka’s husband.

NYPD has identified the suspect as 30-year-old Matthew Pilling. Law enforcement sources said Pilling was found trespassing through the hotel early Sunday. He was eventually escorted out by security.

Pilling apparently was left undeterred by being let out of the hotel premises as he even came back just a few hours after, and on his second “visit”’ was armed with a metal pole. He tried to break into the hotel’s kitchen area. It was then that security decided to call the NYPD already as they established they were not only dealing with a pesky guest but a potentially dangerous person with criminal intent.

NYPD officers found a note on Pilling indicating his intention to harm Kushner, with a plan to jump off the hotel’s roof after the crime has been carried out.

Officers then arrested Pilling, taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass.

It was not clear what his motive was for wanting to harm the presidential son-in-law, and if he was acting on his own or under the order of someone else, or cahoots with another person or persons.

Kushner is safe. He has not commented on the matter yet. It is not clear also if Trump Hotel has made any arrangements to further beef up security in its premises following the incident, or if adjustments have been made by the security service to ensure the better protection of the President’s family.
