A sneaky snake made its way onto the field at Wolff Stadium Friday during a baseball game between the San Antonio Missions and the Frisco RoughRiders.

The cold-blooded fan made its way onto the field during the eighth inning and brought the game to a brief halt before things resumed, and the San Antonio Missions beat the Frisco RoughRiders. It took ground crews several minutes armed with a rake and a bucket to clear the unwanted slithering reptile off the field.
The snake is not the only animal to interrupt a Missions game of late. Earlier this week, another animal made its way onto the playing field during a Missions game. This first animal was a smokey grey feline and was also caught on video by the players.

Perhaps the animals showing up to support the Missions are a positive omen considering they won both games. The San Antonio Missions are on a 10-game win streak, and so far the animals who have been visiting their games have been harmless. Is the next Missions' win going to be foreshadowed by an armadillo rolling down the pitcher's mound?
