Kanye West Reveals Why He Got Rid Of His Phone

Most peoples' phones are virtually attached at the hip and present at all times, but not Kanye's. The 40-year-old rapper revealed he got rid of his phone and no he didn't leave it at home, he got rid of it entirely. "For anyone whose tried to text or call me in the past 2 weeks I got rid of that phone so I could focus on these albums," West tweeted Tuesday.

Kanye West's Twitter account has been a hotbed for controversy involving the rapper and his reality TV star wife, Kim Kardashian. He recently tweeted a photo of a "Make America Great Again" hat and proudly revealed it was signed by the President.

The rapper has been busy working on a project with Kid Cudi called "Kids See Ghost" as well as an album of his own that has yet to be titled but is slated for a June release date. He is also busy with production duties for New York rapper Nas' 11th album which is also expected to release in June.

Kim admitted to having a bit of frustration toward her husband during an interview recently on Live With Kelly and Ryan.
