She may not exactly be a fashion expert, but pop superstar Katy Perry apparently has some strong opinions on the gown Meghan Markle wore at her recent royal wedding.
The American Idol judge told the entertainment media during the show’s finals on Sunday that she thinks Markle should have done one more fitting. She said:
“I’m never not going to tell the truth! One more fitting, but I love you.”

The new duchess wore a pure white, boat neck gown which was designed by British designer Clare Waight Keller, who was appointed as the first female artistic director of French fashion house Givenchy in 2017.
Kensington Palace said Markle went for a “timeless and elegant aesthetic, impeccable tailoring, and relaxed demeanor.”
Perry also didn’t hold her tongue- and her judgment- as to whom she thinks wore the better wedding gown during the respective royal weddings of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. Middleton is famously remembered, of course, for wearing a lace and long-sleeved Alexander McQueen wedding gown designed by Sarah Burton.
As far as Perry’s opinion is concerned, Kate turned out to be the “best dressed royal bride.” The 33-year-old performer could not be more convinced as she gave her vote: “Kate, Kate, Kate won, Kate won! “ Perry could not seem to emphasize enough.
The minimalist boat neck framed Markle’s shoulders and emphasized her waist and heavily contrasted with Middleton’s high V-necked lace-covered gown in 2011, designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen.
But before she gets misinterpreted, Perry was quick to clarify that she does not have any bad blood for the newest member of the royal family. She says she’s thrilled, in fact, for the newly married couple.
Perry says: “I’m so happy for them, and, you know, I don’t know them from Adam, but it’s amazing what she’s doing with all this, her humanitarian efforts. You know, the fact that she’s a proud feminist, I love all that. I support her as another woman and love her and wish them both well.”
Many social media users didn’t take Perry’s comments lightly, however, and harshly turned the tables on the pop star pointing her own fashion “disasters.”

no its just a show, everything you see from actors and singers arnt real, its like politics.
Katy Perry is the niece of a Hollywood film director/producer, her mother's rich and famous brother. And to think Katy and her family lived in a trailer park in Santa Barbara, CA, some of the most expensive real estate in the world. They are all related. Keeping secrets and keeping the money in the family is the goal; otherwise, they'd end up like Diana. These filthy rich derelicts, drunks and perfects are USELESS eaters.
Whose business is it anyway with what we each choose to wear. Meghan glows love and that's the whole deal.
