Hillary Clinton has been vocal about her criticisms of Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin, and has even mocked her rival Donald Trump for the latter's seeming exchange of friendly gestures with the Russian leader. But Wikileaks recent releases add yet another proof to the long list of Hillary's hypocrisy, double talk and over all untrustworthiness. In one of her post- secretary of state speeches where she was paid handsomely, Hillary reveals a longing to be close with Russia, and consequently with Putin.
Hillary once ridiculed Putin and Trump for having " the greatest bromance going on" in a TV guesting. Trump has earlier expressed his admiration of Putin for being a strong leader for his country, in contrast he said to Obama's weak leadership. Putin has also praised Trump, calling him talented.
In the last debate, Hillary also hit Trump for being a " puppet" of Putin which Trump strongly denied. And Hillary continues to echo the Obama and Democrats accusation that Russia is behind the email hacking of Clinton campaign chair John Podesta and the releases of said emails on Wikilieaks. Clinton and her allies believe Russia is interfering with the U.S. elections and favor the victory of Trump.
Russia had of course denied the accusations. A close ally of Putin, however, shared his opinion that a Trump victory will be better in terms of forging peace and better ties between the U.S. and Russia, and a Hillary victory can be potentially dangerous as it would mean ' war'.
But in a speech made at Golden Sachs' IBD CEO Annual Conference in June 4, 2013, Hillary shared her wishes for a good relationship with Russia, and perhaps revealed what she truly feels for Putin.
" I would love it if we could continue to build a more positive relationship with Russia", Hillary said in her speech. " And we would like to see Putin be less defensive toward a relationship with the U.S. so that we could work together on some issues. ", she added.
Perhaps it was just Putin who could see through Hillary's duplicity and lack of trustworthiness to speak the truth and keep her word, and not have two versions for her stand on many controversial issues?
Bernie Sanders, her fierce rival for the primary, has repeatedly challenged Hillary to release her post-State Department speeches. Trump has likewise asked the same thing from Hillary. But Hillary has stubbornly refused to release any of her highly-paid speeches. Turns out as we now learned, it's because the speeches reveal that she can not be trusted.
