First Lady and National Sweetheart Melania Trump did her patriotic part for the country again as she visited injured service members at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, just ahead of the Fourth of July celebrations.

The 48-year-old first lady looked very patriotic in all navy blue as she entered the Washington-area hospital to the great joy of both the patients present and their visiting families.

Melania’s spokeswoman, Ms. Stephanie Grisham, only announced the visit in the morning when she explained that FLOTUS’s agenda would consist of visiting “combat-injured service members and their families.”

On one of the pictures posted, FLOTUS can be seen posing with US Army Captain Mr. Luis Avila, paralyzed after an explosive device (IED) detonated nearby him during a combat tour in 2011. The unfortunate captain suffered an amputation of his left leg, two strokes, two heart attacks, and a severe lack of oxygen that caused anoxic brain damage.
