Rapper Tekashi69 is in trouble again but this time he says he was the victim after two men forced him from a car at a New York City intersection and robbed him of jewelry.
The New York Police Department confirms that the rapper went to a police precinct early to report the incident.

According to the police report filed, Tekashi69 claims he had been in the passenger seat of a car when another vehicle bumped them at about 4:30 a.m. in Brooklyn. Two men then got out of their vehicle and forced him into theirs.
Police also say that the rapper claims that the men forced him to call another man to bring him some personal items. The rapper said he complied with the order. Tekashi69 said the men were able to take an undisclosed amount of jewelry. After getting what they wanted, the police report says, the men left.

Before the news came out, the entertainment site TMZ suggested a more drastic, terrifying account that the rapper was kidnapped, pistol-whipped and robbed and had to be taken to the hospital.

The entertainment site earlier claimed in its report that three sources told them that three hooded gunmen even knocked the rapper unconscious. The same motive was given: robbery. The report said that the men succeeded in getting $750k in jewelry and between $15k and $20k in cash from Tekashi’s home while the rapper was said to be in the back seat of the vehicle used in kidnapping him.
It further said that the gunmen then drove away with Tekashi still in the back seat. After a while Tekashi69 was said to have managed to open the back door and jumped out. He supposedly landed on another vehicle’s passenger seat. The report claimed that the rapper then sought the stranger’s help who then called 911 and dropped him off at an intersection.
An ambulance was said to have picked up the rapper and brought him to the hospital.
So either the site’s sources got it wrong or Tekashi69 has changed the story he reported to the police. It is not clear yet if an investigation will be carried out and whether the rapper is keen on filing charges.
Some social media users are not convinced of any of the version- they simply don’t trust the rapper.
