Australia - Ruby Rose Bullied Off Twitter For "Not Being Gay Enough" For Lesbian Batwoman Role

Recently, far-left wingers were outraged that straight actress Scarlett Johansson was chosen to play a transgender role in a new movie. Social justice warriors virtue signaled Johansson into oblivion forcing her to ultimately back out of the role. Now, an even more insidious and revealing case of online bullying by the far left social justice warriors targeting one of their own has affected real-life consequences.

Australian actress Ruby Rose who has identified as a lesbian since she was age 12 recently announced she landed the role of Batwoman in an upcoming CW TV show focused on the new lesbian superhero. That's right when CW put out their casting call, they specifically said they wanted a gay actress to play the role since the new superhero is actually a lesbian in the show. Ruby shared her excitement over landing the role on social media saying:

"The Bat is out of the bag and I am beyond thrilled and honored. I’m also an emotional wreck.. because this is a childhood dream. This is something I would have died to have seen on TV when I was a young member of the LGBT community who never felt represented on tv and felt alone and different. Thank you everyone. Thank you god."

But almost instantaneously, far-left social justice warrriors from the gay community attacked Ruby for "not being gay enough" to play the lesbian superhero. Sadly, the number of people supporting her was far outweighed by the hate from left-wing gay communities. Isn't tolerance the number one thing that the left preaches? Why is it ok for gay people to be utterly judgmental, hateful, and intolerant? The irony of the situation is mind-boggling and apparently Ruby thought so too because she just deleted her Twitter account entirely. The lesbian actress also limited commenting on her Instagram profile.

Wasn't it just a couple months ago that social justice warriors called out Star Wars fans for bullying Rose Tico actress Kelly Marie Tran off social media? The left's hypocrisy knows no bounds! The last tweet from Ruby Rose's Twitter expressed sadness at the gay communities reaction to her new role. Sadly, since she was bullied off Twitter I cannot show the tweet since it has been erased.
