Ripley's Top Ten Believe It Or Not 2018

December of 2018 will be the 100th anniversary of the show Ripley’s Believe It Or Not and we thought what better way to celebrate than to compile the top ten most shocking things to ever appear on the show. I'm warning you now if you have a queasy stomach this might be a rough ride…

The media empire built by creator Robert Ripley started as a newspaper cartoon and snowballed into everything from books, to TV shows and "odditoriums" where you could see the most bizarre offerings Ripley has ever found. The 100th anniversary will also be marked this year by the release of its latest book, "A Century of Strange". Here are ten of the top most weird and disturbing oddities contained in the upcoming release.

1. I'll start the list off with the mildest of the oddities but I warn you things will escalate quickly! This first oddity is a 3D Graffiti by Portuguese artist Sergio Odeith, I'm guessing you would have to see it in person to truly appreciate it.

2. It's getting nasty real quick, number two is a steaming bowl of bat soup which are popular in Asian and Pacific Rim countries. This particular restaurant in Palau, Micronesia prefers to serve them in a giant bowl of broth. Wouldn't it be difficult to swallow fur?

3. This one may not be so obvious, but it is a two-headed shark fetus discovered off the coast of the Florida Keys. Apparently, they are very rare because this one sold for $10,600 on eBay!

4. Nope, nope, nope! This girl's selfie doesn't need much explaining. Ashley Glawe of Portland, Oregon, got her pet snake caught stuck in her gauged earlobe. If you either had to cut your earlobe to get the snake free or had cut the snake in half, which would you choose?

He was eventually caught and executed and now you can see his head on display at the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Medicine.

Damn son. That's the first time I've ever seen a sterilely-draped wheel barrow!

Just thought of something, a pedo retirement home with racks of jars with the heads of convicted kiddie diddlers. Open th the public of course and browsable online for the pedos in training. The kid porn they seek could be replaced with pics of heads of like minded sickos. And for the video enthusiast they get spammed with the actual canning process.
