When asked if FBI and ATF agents were among those investigating the home in Maryland Williams said, "We are having … there is some cooperation going on in Baltimore." There were dozens of gamers competing and watching others play the Madden NFL19 football game which is an American football simulator.

The competition was held at a popular complex called the Jacksonville Landing. Williams described how his officers were finding locals hiding in shops and restaurants long after the shooting. Two of the wounded were able to transport themselves to the hospital while another seven were transported by ambulance.

Mayor Lenny Curry said, "Jacksonville is in mourning." A tweet from the Jacksonville sheriffs said, "Mass shooting at the Jacksonville Landing. Stay far away from the area. The area is not safe at this time. STAY AWAY." Sheriff Williams said, "Multiple fatalities at the scene, many transported. One suspect is dead at the scene, unknown at this time if we have a second suspect. Searches are being conducted.

"We are finding many people hiding in locked areas at the Landing. We ask you to stay calm, stay where you are hiding. Swat is doing a methodical search inside the Landing. We will get to you. Please don’t come running out. If you are hiding in the Landing, call 911 so we can get to you." President Trump personally called the governor of Florida Rick Scott and offered all necessary assistance.

I have seen the results here in Atlanta of drive-bys with more victims that never made the news wires and just a blip on the local stations.

Were the hell was Event Security?

Wasn't there metal detectors at the event?

Where is David Hogg, or are his 15 mins of fame up finally up?

Another example of where an ARMED Citizenry could have stopped this quickly or deterred its planned.
