The social justice identity polices war is raging on in California with gender equality activists within the state's legislators passing a bill that would require public companies to have at least one woman on their boards. The bill was introduced by California state senators Hannah-Beth Jackson and Toni Atkins and if it is signed into law it could mean publicly traded companies will have to put a woman on each board or face fines.

"One-fourth of California's publicly traded companies still do not have a single woman on their board, despite numerous independent studies that show companies with women on their board are more profitable and productive," state Sen. Jackson said on Wednesday. "With women comprising over half the population and making over 70 percent of purchasing decisions, their insight is critical to discussions and decisions that affect corporate culture, actions, and profitability."
The bill's authors said, "More women directors serving on boards of directors of publicly held corporations will boost the California economy, improve opportunities for women in the workplace, and protect California taxpayers, shareholders, and retirees, including retired California state employees and teachers whose pensions are managed by CalPERS and CalSTRS." They go on to say that proactive steps need to be taken to force women into positions they wouldn't otherwise be without the government stepping in.

The bill says if it passes, companies with five board members will be required to make at least two of them women. It there are six members, then three of them have to be female. The bill's authors say that women are the key to profitability and without them, the corporate culture won't be as healthy.

Affirmative Action to get unqualified people who never worked hard on merit, to get high paying jobs.
Every company board should have at least one nation wreckin toad on it. I mean what's this nonsense about actually earning anything when you could just make the commie state force them to hire you?
