International Child Porn Ring Leaves 91 Victims in 28 States with Eight Pedophiles Arrested

The President can claim another victory under the Trump Administration’s ongoing annihilation of PedoGate, with the shutdown of an international-reaching child pornographic distribution ring, saving 91 child victims across 28 states; leading to the indictments and arrest of eight pedophiles who ran a worldwide website to exploit children

Investigators identified 91 victims from 28 states and Canada.

Now, an international child pornographic distribution ring has been destroyed, much of which the perpetrators were seeking out prepubescent children around the nation while operating out of Michigan, Colorado, South Carolina, Maryland, Georgia, Utah, and Missouri.

The story beginning with a pedophile Sentenced in 2017, who would make a deal with federal prosecutors to help local, federal, and state law enforcement agencies around the nation bring the vicious ring of pedophiles from around the nation to justice; through a comprehensive, and effective, while deeply strategic planning process that involved espionage-like tactics of infiltration.

The United States of America's Justice Department, via their Criminal Division was responsible for the framework of the operation, which court documents show that beginning in July of 2014, in a multi-year operation, the now indicted defendants, alongside their co-conspirators, who are based outside of the United States of America; maintained a website which both sexually exploited, sexually engaged, targeted for enticement, or sold to countless prepubescent female children for the purposes of child pornographic distribution.

There are three types of pedophiles involved in this enterprise, “Hunters,” “Talkers,” and “Lookers,” according to FBI Special Agent Adam Christensen.

"Hunters" sought girls to bring to the website and alerted other members of the online chat group.

"Talkers" were in charge of conversing with girls and getting them to engage in sexual conduct.

"Loopers" played previously-recorded videos depicting a male minor chatting or performing sex acts in a chat room, then posed as that minor when speaking with a girl.

45-year-old Michael Augustin, a computer engineer of Fort Collins, Colorado, who is known simply by the name "Rand," was the first to be exposed, after the Justice Department’s Criminal Division via the Operation and the FBI would learn of the efforts of Augustin to pose as younger build ten, both male and female, and attempt to find social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and other major platforms to consider as possible targets.

Through deception, blackmail, manipulation, or even coercion; Gersky and Augustin were able to successfully control the children's minds, and for years built a vast array of different types of child pornographic materials, all of which they would stream over the internet to an undisclosed amount of high-paying pedophiles for their demented pleasure.

Sometimes, Gersky and Augustin would use pre-recorded footage of young boys engaging in masturbation or undressing their clothes, and send it to the young girls they had engaged in manipulating into believing was a young boy; in a way that the girls would eventually have emotional connections to.

Taking deranged and extraordinary measures Gersky and Augustin, more often than not, were able to exploit these children, and carried out the manufactured relationships with them as long as necessary to acquire enormous amounts of child pornographic materials.

Apparently, one of the girl's parents had found out what was happening between their daughter and what they believed was a young boy, the mother having been distraught, and that's when she decided to contact law enforcement.

Regardless of the age of a child, sending or receiving sexually explicit images or videos of a child is against federal law, which is how the Department of Justice came into the case, and along with the DOJ is their powerful Cyber Crimes unit and Operation Safe Childhood.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation was also utilized, where Special Agent in Norris of the FBI Columbia, South Carolina Field Office says that Gersky and Augustin would take the streams from the prepubescent girls and place them onto a file-sharing site, which worked cooperatively to store their massive child pornography stash and then allow the two mastermind pedophiles to charge those degenerate child predators around the globe an exorbitant amount of cash to download the custom child porn.

The website they used to share the horrific content was password protected, and only heavily vetted members could gain access, according to United States Attorney Sherri A. Lydon of the District of South Carolina.

This began efforts of the Federal Bureau of Investigation to attempt to contact Gersky, where there would be several other pedophiles, including 35-year-old Brandon Gressette, of Summerville, South Carolina, who used the name of “Samisbae,” and didn't follow the strict rules that Gersky and Augustin had posted for their streams, which would prove to be a fatal flaw.

Those rules were designed and enforced to make no effort of contacting the child during or after a live stream, where the pedophiles who paid to watch the stream in attendance would sit in silence gaining pleasure from listening to the two adult males as they would pose as if they were teenage boys; to attempt to win enough trust from the young girls to receive child pornographic videos or images from them.

As local media affiliate the<a href="https://www.postandcourier.com/news/charleston-county-inmate-part-of-international-sex-predator-ring-investigators/article_40a79b6e-a607-11e6-8125-97f98e0db900.html"> Post and Courier </a>in South Carolina would report, Gressette would be part of the several reasons that the entire illicit child pornographic distribution ring would go down in the end, but not due to his impatience, although it would cost him dearly in the future.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation had recently busted a Canadian website linked to production and trafficking in child porn, and the lead suspect, in that case, decided to help the Canadian Mounties to avoid a maximum sentence.

The<a href="http://www.pentictonherald.ca/news/article_eca402fa-4cd1-11e8-9d2e-079b7c818229.html"> local Canada news affiliate Penticton Herald </a>reports that the Canadian website was 34-year-old Jesse Aaron Prince; who was later convicted of “possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography and two counts of importing or distributing child pornography following a five-day trial.”

An undercover investigation into Prince resulted in physical child porn being found in his bedroom, which had over 300 images and at least six videos of prepubescent children under the age of 12 being forcefully raped by adults.

While one of the individuals tied to that case, we don't know whether that person is Prince or someone else, decided to help the Canadian authorities.

Their assistance would result in Canadian Mounties efforts to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation; only to provide assistance from their informant, which was able to link Gressette to another chime pornography website in the United Kingdom, that would be shut down.

The Post and Courier report that this particular website was first hosted in Montreal, Canada, and the Mounties were able to get it taken offline, only to reappear in the United Kingdom, where the FBI would then shut that website down as well.

During the second takedown, the FBI was able to acquire the servers hosting the website, which led them to a treasure trove of data, and that included chat logs with a man who called himself “Samisbae,’ the name that Brandon Gressette had used.

“Chat messages associated with these records were indicative of enticing children,” the Federal Bureau of Investigation wrote in their criminal complaint. “The user ‘Samisbae’ engaged in chat messages that included links to outside social media accounts of girls, discussion of what he was able to do to get the girls to do on those accounts, and using the above-mentioned tools offered on the site.”

By tracking the IP address of the pedophile who masked himself as “Samisbae” online, the FBI had their first real lead into this case, although they had no idea how widespread the pedophile tentacles had implanted at the time, they would soon find out.

Armed with not much more than probable cause, and a legitimate chance that Gressette had real-world connections to some type of human trafficking or child sex trafficking, the FBI were patient as they researched the entire life history of their suspect.

During those efforts they would find that Gressette had been living with his parents, even while in his thirties, although he'd recently moved out and rather than strike to detain and interrogate the perverted demon, federal agents began to monitor both the home of his parents and Gressette’s new residence with 24-hour a day surveillance, eventually spotting him in a white Nissan Altima, which matched his driving records.

A week later, heavily armed FBI Agents began to surround his home, as swat gear and batons were being passed around; and at the sight of his Impending arrest, Gressette had grabbed the hard drive out of his computer and ran to his bathroom before the FBI could scream “FBI! Search Warrant!”

Just as agents were kicking in his front door Gressette was throwing the hard drive into the bathtub to submerge it.

“Gressette advised he was told to do this by other child pornography users on the websites he had visited,” the FBI said. “He did this hoping it would erase all the data on his hard drive that contained child pornography.”

The advice given to Gressette was not successful, and a forensics team would later uncover hundreds of videos depicting prepubescent “minor females performing sexual acts,” according to the complaint.

Gressette would be taken into custody on charges of conspiracy to advertise child pornography, conspiracy to produce child pornography, conspiracy to receive and distribute child pornography, two counts of production of child pornography, use of interstate commerce facility to entice minor to engage in sexual activity and possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor.

Due to the fact that one of the websites he was using was connected to the site which Augustin and Gresky were running, and there was more than enough evidence in Gressette’s hard drive to uncover these connections; it led authorities to the path of identifying and inevitably bringing down several other pedophiles involved in the now-realized international child pornographic distribution ring, as Gressette would be locked away in the Charleston County Jail for a long time before he would face trial.

This is when the FBI began to tie the allegations against the alleged teen boy, who had really been both Gresky and Augustin, to the website, as they were sifting through case files in hopes of uncovering any other suspects of which they already had on record.

Almost a year later, the FBI had armed itself with endless case files, identifying victims and alleged pedophiles connected to the operations Gressette was involved with, even going undercover to access Gresky and Augustin’s operations.

The first of a series of arrests happened in Missouri, where authorities had found that 30-year-old Jonathan A. “Terp” Cripe, of Imperial, Missouri is both a security guard, and had been one of several to engage the child pornographic distribution ring, but the very little details that are available around Cripe suggest that this pedophile may have cooperated with authorities, with the most details coming from<a href="http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/jefferson-county-man-charged-as-part-of-child-pornography-ring/article_d73c836a-0646-55a1-ac8a-0792cabf0291.html"> local media affiliate St. Louis Today,</a>where even then the case details are slim.

The Jefferson County pedophile Jonathan Cripe was arrested and charged for his involvement in the child porn ring, where the FBI and federal prosecutors would later tell us that Cripe personally posed as an underage boy and sexually exploited 60 children during his reign of terror with the pedophile safe haven website, although we're unaware of whether Cripe was paid by Gresky and Augustin or if he just did these vile and disturbing crimes for pleasure.

Of the 60 young girls, Cripe had nude photographs, videos, and other disturbing images of, he would then store those digital files online, at the same location that both Gresky and Augustin hosted their videos.

Around the same time as Cripe was taken into custody, Gressette would make international news, as a woman in Romania would face charges herself for allegations she had accepted the £7,000 or a little over $9,000, to allow pedophiles to watch as she molested her own 11-month-old child on film; and Gressette had been the key playmaker behind the entire series of disturbing events.

As part of the joint-sting into Gressette, authorities had uncovered a disturbing number of videos and images of 24-year-old Roxana Elena Onu molesting her 11-month-old child, which as<a href="Roxana Elena Onu"> The Daily Mail </a>reported, she did for the sole purpose of financial gain.

Mother-of-two Roxana Elena Onu, who hails from the city of Varasti in southern Romania, would be arrested after local police received the disturbing information surrounding her IP address from the FBI, which quickly generated around the globe as horrific news.

The FBI's international Investigations team also found that Roxana used the name “brunetelovex2, “ and that she'd received cash from Gressette via Western Union directly to Romania.

This monetary exchange would be the key to the eventual guaranteed imprisonment of everyone involved, for a very, very long time.

Roxana is reported to have told the authorities that, “I agreed to do these things with my daughter because I thought that she couldn’t have suffered any trauma. I thought that it was all just a game.”

She also said that she had been engaged in sexually explicit live streams since prior to becoming pregnant, but eventually, the group offered her cash to perform the molestation of her own daughter, and she accepted.

“After I graduated high-school I got involved in video-chat activities. It was my idea to involve my baby girl,” the evil and disgusting Roxana Elena Onu said as if it weren't a big deal. Onu could now face up to 15 years in jail.

“Some of my clients knew that I had been giving birth to a baby. They asked me to undress her and to touch her,” Roxana added.”I agreed to do that in exchange for money. Some of them were paying me with $500, others with $100.”

This would result in the immediate efforts to take down the others involved; and knowing that the Department of Justice had every aspect of this case locked down tightly, at this point, it meant the FBI would need to take action by executing multiple search and arrest warrants.

U.S. District Judge Richard M. Gergel for the District of South Carolina imposed the following sentences:

All defendants were ordered to pay $10,000 to one victim and $98,715 to another victim in restitution, jointly and severally. Gressette was additionally ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution to two victims. Fox was additionally ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution to two victims and Cripe was additionally ordered to pay $2,500 in restitution to two victims. Augustin was also ordered by Judge Gergel to pay a fine in the amount of $100,000.

27-year-old Jonathan Soto, of Branchburg, New Jersey,<a href="https://www.justice.gov/usao-nj/pr/somerset-county-new-jersey-man-admits-producing-sexually-explicit-images-children"> would be the first of the evil pedophiles involved in these crimes to fall, </a> where he admitted his role in a scheme to produce sexually explicit images of children through the website the international child porn ring was using.

Jonathan Soto pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Freda L. Wolfson in Trenton federal court to Count One of an indictment charging him with conspiracy to produce child pornography.

United States Attorney Paul J. Fishman credited Special Agents of the FBI, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge Timothy Gallagher in Newark, and the Branchburg Township Police Department, under the direction of Chief David Young, with the raid on Soto’s home, shocking him as numerous agencies are standing in his doorway with weapons of war, and their investigation demanding one thing, which was that he put his hands behind his back and acknowledge his right to remain silent as he heads to prison for a very long time.

"He enticed children to perform porn," Assistant U.S. Attorney Melissa Wangenheim said during Soto's sentencing Friday, saying Soto would even block users if they didn't produce enough of the illicit child porn.

Soto also boasted about his computer skills, how long he had been distributing child pornography and referred to his victims using derogatory language,” Wangenheim said.

According to the documents filed in this case and statements made in court, Soto admitted that he administered and operated a website designed to produce child pornography by tricking minor victims into engaging in sexually explicit activity on web cameras.

As part of the conspiracy, Soto designed the website with certain online tools and a chatroom function that enabled users to target minor victims online, share victims’ social media profiles and discuss ways to get minors to produce child pornography over the internet.

Pedophiles using the website would then create fake profiles on popular social media websites pretending to be young children, all of which were aged from about 10 to 16.

Using these false profiles, the pedophiles chatted with actual children and lured the minor victims to other websites to engage in private chats.

Once in a private chat room, users then persuaded child victims to engage in a sexually explicit activity.

“Unbeknownst to the victims, when they engaged in a sexually explicit activity, they were secretly recorded, and those videos were shared with other users on Soto’s website,” US Attorneys Fishman said. “The conspiracy to produce child pornography count to which Soto pleaded guilty carries a minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, a maximum potential penalty of 30 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine.”

Soto was prosecuted in the District of New Jersey and also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to produce child pornography. , Soto was sentenced to 18 years in federal prison for his role in the scheme.

The FBI, by pure luck, or absolute coincidence, had already been contacted about the child earlier who was being targeted by a young boy in order to send him child pornography, and the girl's mother ranted and raved at authorities to find the culprit, which she still believed was a teenager;

Each of those involved was so “in the know” about the underworld of sexual degeneracy involving children, that it's likely the FBI or federal prosecutors have sought to reveal additional knowledge from the men, in an attempt in saving any child from this type of victimization.

The Post and Courier reports that given the FBI had a list of websites where the pedophiles frequent, and one of those had a specific description stating that child predators would pose as other children to coerce younger girls into various forms of sexual exploitation, including the girls sending live streams of themselves engaged in sexual deviance, where the adults who were streaming the child pornography would redistribute the stream and videos around the globe.

Court documents filed since then say 28-year-old Jonathan Cripe, of Imperial, Missouri, who went by the name of “Terp,” is one of the many pedophile Co-Conspirators involved with the illegal child pornographic distribution website; has also posed as a young child in order to attempt to acquire footage of the young girls.

Special Agent in Charge Alphonso “Jody” Norris of the FBI Columbia, South Carolina Field Office says that Augustin and his 35-year-old James Thomas Gersky, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who would go by the name of “Hesh,” would look for young girls around the age of only 10-years-old via social media accounts, posing as someone the age of the victims in an attempt to either convince the children to send them images or videos, or talk them into meeting them at a public place with the intent to sexually exploit the girls as part of their twisted desire to stockpile and sell the horrendous child pornography.

43-year-old Sean Ellis, of Kennesaw, Georgia, aka “Jeffery,” who is a data protection specialist out of Kennesaw, Georgia;, was one of the security and strategi aspects of the operation, where he ensured that none could access the website unless they were vetted beforehand. Ellis was sentenced to serve 30 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release.

40-year-old Steven Fox, who used the name of “Steam,” is an unemployed resident of Elkridge, Maryland, was sentenced to serve 30 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release.

Brandon Gressette, aka “Samisbae,” 33, a restaurant cook of Summerville, South Carolina, was sentenced to serve 40 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release.

Becovic also previously pleaded guilty in the District of Utah to receipt of child pornography and was later sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for the Utah conviction.

29-year-old Jonathan Cripe, the security system installer out of Imperial, Missouri, was sentenced to serve 18 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release for his involvement.

Trial Attorneys Lauren Britsch and Austin M. Berry of the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS) and Assistant U.S. Attorney Dean Secor of the District of South Carolina prosecuted the case. The FBI Newark, New Jersey and Columbia, South Carolina Field Offices and the FBI Major Case Coordination Unit investigated the case with assistance from Operation Rescue Me, the Digital Analysis and Research Center (DARC) Lab and CEOS' High Technology Investigative Unit.

The newly created efforts of President Trump to declare all child sex trafficking and prostitution online as a federal crime, which has resulted in the shutdown of multiple websites where pedophiles and child pornographers were brought down, including that of<a href="https://thegoldwater.com/news/22564-Backpage-com-Seized-By-Government-As-FOSTA-Net-Spreads-Ever-Wider"> Backpage</a>, which was brought down this past spring.

This case illustrates that even sophisticated technological means will not protect predators online from being brought to justice,” said U.S. Attorney Lydon. “The arrest and prosecution of perpetrators who commit these heinous acts of violence will continue to be a high priority of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in South Carolina, and I commend the investigators who spent endless hours on this important case.”

“These crimes are especially disturbing and it is very satisfying to see the results of the hard work of our special agents,” said FBI Special Agent in Charge Norris. “The FBI in South Carolina will remain vigilant and continue our active role in the national strategy to ensure children are protected.”

Gressette was obsessive-compulsive and lacked any patience, of which that inability to restrain himself would cost him, and because of his pressures and the perverse actions of a woman, an 11-month-old baby has become victim to child molestation.

Tackling child exploitation efforts is something that the Department of Justice has taken a leading role in focusing on.

Online enticement of children was among the crimes explored in a nationwide study by the U.S. Department of Justice. The study called it "undoubtedly a growing threat," that has increased in recent years.

In many of these cases, the study found, criminals communicate with a child to gain the child's trust and begin a grooming process.

Each of these men is now off the streets and removed from the potential to molest, sexually assault, or further victimize any child with child pornography.

Child pornography is not a victimless crime, and every perpetrating pedophile arrested for the possession, distribution, or simply viewing of child pornography is a criminal.

At some point in time during the production, possession, viewing, or distribution of child pornographic materials, the child depicted in those images or videos was brutally and horrendously sexually abused if not tortured as a result.

The Department of Justice announced the definitions, and penalties regarding the sexual exploitation of child; either physically, or regarding child pornographuc materials, so that the public can familiarize with each of the federal laws.

CITIZEN'S GUIDE TO U.S. FEDERAL LAW ON CHILD PORNOGRAPHY:

Images and videos of which are a depiction of any form of child pornography are not protected under First Amendment rights, and are illegal contraband under federal law, regardless of a state law or local ordinance, which could be handled as two individual cases against those in violation.

<a href="https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2256">Section 2256 of Title 18, United States Code</a>, defines child pornography as any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor (someone under 18 years of age).

Visual depictions include photographs, videos, digital or computer generated images indistinguishable from an actual minor, and images created, adapted, or modified, but appear to depict an identifiable, actual minor. The undeveloped film, undeveloped videotape, and electronically stored data that can be converted into a visual image of child pornography are also deemed illegal visual depictions under federal law.

Notably, the legal definition of sexually explicit conduct does not require that an image depict a child engaging in sexual activity. A picture of a naked child may constitute illegal child pornography if it is sufficiently sexually suggestive.

Additionally, the age of consent for sexual activity in a given state is irrelevant; any depiction of a minor under 18 years of age engaging in sexually explicit conduct is illegal

Federal law prohibits the production, distribution, reception, and possession of an image of child pornography using or affecting any means or facility of interstate or foreign commerce (See<a href="https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2251"> 18 U.S.C. § 2251 </a>(Sexual Exploitation of Children);<a href="https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2252"> 18 U.S.C. § 2252 </a>(Certain Activities Relating to Material Involving the Sexual Exploitation of Minor);<a href="https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2252A"> 18 U.S.C. § 2252A </a>(Certain Activities Relating to Material Constituting or Containing Child Pornography).

Specifically, Section 2251 makes it illegal by federal law to either persuade, induce, entice or coerce a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for purposes of producing visual depictions of that conduct.

Any individual who attempts or conspires to commit a child pornography offense is also subject to prosecution under federal law.

Federal jurisdiction is implicated if the child pornography offense occurred in interstate or foreign commerce. This includes, for example, using the United States Mails or common carriers to transport child pornography across the state or international borders. Additionally, federal jurisdiction almost always applies when the Internet is used to commit a child pornography violation.

Even if the child pornography image itself did not travel across state or international borders, federal law may be implicated if the materials, such as the computer used to download the image or the CD-ROM used to store the image, originated or previously traveled in interstate or foreign commerce.

In addition, Section 2251A of Title 18, United States Code, specifically prohibits any parent, legal guardian or another person in custody or control of a minor under the age of 18, to buy, sell, or transfer custody of that minor for purposes of producing child pornography.

Lastly, Section 2260 of Title 18, United States Code, prohibits any persons outside of the United States to knowingly produce, receive, transport, ship, or distribute child pornography with intent to import or transmit the visual depiction into the United States.

Any violation of federal child pornography law is a serious crime, and convicted offenders face severe statutory penalties.

For example, a first-time offender convicted of producing child pornography under 18 U.S.C. § 2251, face fines and a statutory minimum of 15 years to 30 years maximum in prison.

A first-time offender convicted of transporting child pornography in interstate or foreign commerce under 18 U.S.C. § 2252, faces fines and a statutory minimum of 5 years to 20 years maximum in prison.

Convicted offenders may face harsher penalties if the offender has prior convictions or if the child pornography offense occurred in aggravated situations defined as (i) the images are violent, sadistic, or masochistic in nature, (ii) the minor was sexually abused, or (iii) the offender has prior convictions for child sexual exploitation.

In these circumstances, a convicted offender may face up to life imprisonment.

It is important to note that an offender can be prosecuted under state child pornography laws in addition to, or instead of, federal law, which could potentially mean additional imprisonment.

The scourge of child pornographic distribution continues to be eliminated under the Trump Administration, which has result in over 9000 arrests related to human and child-sex trafficking, child molestation, or child pornography since President Trump's inauguration in January of 2017, setting records in the widespread victories against the rampant pedophilia in America.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agency Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is also bringing down suspected child-sex offenders through Operation Predator.

You can also contact ICE via the Operation Predator application for mobile devices. ICE has created a smartphone app – the first of its kind in U.S. federal law enforcement – designed to seek the public's help with fugitive and unknown suspect child predators.

It is also time that we as a society hold our elected officials accountable in demanding stricter punishments be enforced with tough new legislation against anyone who would victimize a child, of either life imprisonment, of capital punishment. Oftentimes, they are released and re-offend. There is no rehabilitation for child sex offenders.

Something is really fishy about this article. Roxana Onu is a reputable attorney in Romania and her photo differs from the one shown in this article, which actually appears to be the face of a young Gloria Vanderbilt photoshopped into another photo.

The article is not naturally written and appears to have been written by an AI. It could also be a clumsy translation of another similar article written in Romania way back in 2016 before Trump was even elected.

I am calling 'Fake News' on this article. It appears to have been mounted by crooks within DOJ/FBI in order to try to make them look good to the public while they are under intense scrutiny from the Trump Admin.

It certainly looks to me like 'The Goldwater' is now under suspicion of being a Deep State fake news website.
