Tuesday at Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing on Capitol Hill, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) had his patience tried one too many times by mouthy protesters. During Hatch's opening statement at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, one protester, in particular, caused him to snap and refer to her as a "loudmouth."

A man's patience can only be tried so far, and one can hardly fault Hatch's patient handling of the situation. Imagine the shock when it was revealed that one of the protestors who he had to shout down was none other than actress Piper Perabo.
Because of her group's disruptive protests at the hearing, Perabo and her feminist friends were thrown out and arrested for civil disobedience. She immediately took to social media to complain. In her tweet, Perabo wrote, "I was just arrested for civil disobedience in the Kavanaugh hearings. Many citizens before me have fought for the equal rights of women. I can’t be silent when someone is nominated to the Supreme Court who would take our equal rights away."

Sen. Hatch eventually stopped his opening statement and said, "Mr. Chairman, I think we ought to have this loudmouth removed. We shouldn’t have to put up with this kind of stuff." Perabo was one of 63 interruptions before the committee broke for lunch.
