Golfing superstar Dustin Johnson was reduced to playing personal photographer to his Instagram star girlfriend Paulina Gretzky during the Ryder Cup gala dinner at the iconic Palace of Versailles near Paris. Johnson took - or was made to take?- photos of Gretzky as they made a spectacular entrance to the grand event.
Johnson had a strange expression on his face while attending to his new “task” at hand- as if he was reminding himself it was his price to pay to fix his relationship with Gretzky. Gretzky was in “fighting form” and a glamorous sight during the event.
Social media erupted in amusement, some in mockery, of how the daughter of ice hockey legend Wayne Gretzky seemed to have relegated her fiance to what appeared like nothing more than a “handbag accessory.”

There have been wide speculations that the pair’s relationship is not as rosy as it used to be. For one, Gretzky deleted all traces of the golfing superstar from her Instagram account, which counts more than 700,000 followers.
Rumors of relationship problems were triggered by allegations that the sports hero had an affair with California socialite Yassie Safai. Both Johnson and Safai have since denied any romantic links with each other.

The golfing sensation finally responded to reports of his relationship status with Gretzky when he posted on Twitter the message: “Every relationship goes through its ups and downs, but most importantly, we love each other very much and are committed to being a family. Thank you for your love and support.”
